1.  (Hello) "Sa-lam"  

   A warm greeting is always appreciated. Use it to start conversations with locals.


2. (Thank you) "Shok-ran"

   Gratitude goes a long way. Expressing thanks will endear you to the people you meet.


3. (Please) "Aff-faak"

   Politeness is key in any culture. Use this when requesting something.

4. (Excuse me) "Smuh-hailia"

   A polite way to get someone's attention or to navigate through a crowd.


5. (God belss you) "Lahf-dik"

   Use this for a warm thank you.

   Essential for shopping and bargaining in local markets.


7.  (I don't speak Arabic well) "Ma-kan-ha-darsh ar-biya m-zyann"

   An honest admission that helps locals understand your situation.
